2. Booking and Payment

• Booking: By booking a move with us, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name, contact information, and details about the move (e.g., dates, locations, inventory).
• Payment: Payments are due as outlined in the estimate or contract. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, bank transfers, and other secure methods. All payments are processed securely.
• Deposits and Cancellations: Deposits may be required to confirm a booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee.

3. Liability and Damages

While we take every precaution to protect your items during the moving process, Hobe Sound Movers is not responsible for damage caused by factors outside our control, such as weather or acts of nature. We recommend purchasing moving insurance for extra protection.

• Liability: We are responsible for loss or damage to your belongings only while they are in our care, custody, or control. Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
• Excluded Items: We are not responsible for items that are not packed by us, such as fragile or high-value items, unless they are properly packed by our team.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Access to Property: You are responsible for ensuring that there is clear access to the pick-up and delivery locations, including parking, elevators, and any required permits.
• Preparation of Items: We ask that you prepare your items for transport, including disassembling furniture if required. For safety reasons, certain items may not be moved (e.g., hazardous materials).

5. Prohibited Items

We do not move hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable goods, or items that are considered dangerous or prohibited by law. A full list of prohibited items will be provided upon request.

6. Insurance

We recommend that you purchase moving insurance to cover the potential loss or damage to your items during the move. We offer basic liability coverage but encourage clients to explore additional insurance options for valuable or fragile items.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hobe Sound Movers, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of our services or your breach of these Terms and Conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Hobe Sound Movers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of use, arising out of the use of our services.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute or claim arising out of these Terms and Conditions or your use of our services, we agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be settled through binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Florida.
